If there is one thing London is not short off, it is places to stay. London is host to a whole range of accommodation from your traditional bed and breakfasts where you should be able to find a bed with breakfast included for £60+ per person per night, to the luxury of the Ritz hotel at more than £200 a night. Of course, normally you get what you pay for but it is worth looking our for last minute hotel booking bargains.
The Notting Hill Carnival

The Mayor's Thames Festival takes place annually in mid-September. Activities take place over a weekend on the River Thames, the riverside walkways, roads, bridges, docks and public open spaces from Westminster Bridge to Tower Bridge and beyond.
